Effective time management is more than being on time and doing tasks to deadline. It is about prioritising and planning what you need to do based on goals, values and priorities. This course is designed as a short introduction to some of the key principles of time management for anyone who has to manage their own time.

  • Saying ‘No’ appropriately

Learning Outcomes

On completing this course candidates will understand:

  • How to prioritise tasks in order to ensure that the right tasks are completed on time
  • How to identify problems that interfere with their time
  • Finding out the root cause of the problem 
  • Identifying personal reasons for not carrying out tasks
  • Only taking on tasks that can be managed alongside current workload

Assessment: None. All candidates will be presented with a certificate at the end of the course to show attendance.
