For those adults employed to work with children and young people there is a duty of care to safeguard and promote their welfare.  This course is designed to raise the awareness of people employed in this sector of the need to behave appropriately, and to help create a safer culture to prevent children being abused in the workplace. Led by a member of the Swindon Local Safeguarding Children Board, this is an excellent introduction to safeguarding, for those new to working with children and young people.
